Working through Chuck’s set of DVD videos
Bible study through the books of the New Testament
I study along with Chuck Missler’s Koinonia House expositional teachings and keep detailed notes in Logos. His commentary works verse by verse, with historical and cultural background and the intertextual links he emphasizes so heavily, tracing patterns across all 66 books.
The teaching is dense, so each session runs in two passes: one taking notes in Logos, then a second reading through the corresponding biblical text on its own. Those Logos notes are exported and posted here.

Standalone studies at length
The Book of Ruth: The Romance of Redemption
A kinsman-redeemer, a widow with no claim on him, and a curse ten generations deep. What four chapters in the days of the judges set up, and why Revelation 5 depends on it.
Matthew 7:13-14Which Way to Heaven?
Two gates, two ways, two destinations, two crowds. The close of the Sermon on the Mount, and what Jesus said it costs to enter by the narrow one.
Coming to Christ and 12-year study plan
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord in 2022, at the age of 50. Becoming a child of God that late means I have a lot of catching up to do, and that is why I spend time in God’s Word every day.
I read the Bible cover to cover first. That first read was a thorough one and took me a good two years (2023-2024). I am now on a 10-year study plan (2025-2035), working through every book in two distinct ways: The Grace and Truth Study Bible, and Dr. Chuck Missler’s DVDs. I wake up every day looking forward to continuing my study.
